Portfolio

Dedicated to the use of textiles, and the folk art traditions of piecing, quilting and embroidery, I incorporate drawing, painting and needle-felting, making for a rich and engaging surface.

Small Works are no larger than three feet squared, often using beads and found objects, they draw the observer into an intimate exploration. Neptune Sun and At the Window, make use of my sister Melissa Arnolds’, hand-dyed fabrics.

Works on Canvas are a larger format. They allow me to use coarser fibers, such as nylon window screen and paper. There is a distinct freedom of movement in this size, with repetition, and whimsy leading the way!
